SEOUL Summer Study Abroad Program

Xavier in South Korea

joint with Sogang University

Welcome to the Seoul Summer Program!

This program offers students the unique opportunity to study and explore Asia, with a focus on South Korea. Over four weeks in Seoul, students will earn 6 credit hours while engaging in a range of immersive activities. These include meetings with business leaders, a tour of Seoul, visits to the War Memorial and the DMZ, and more.

South Korea, home to global giants like Hyundai and Samsung, has transformed into a cultural powerhouse, spreading its influence worldwide through the Korean Wave ("Hallyu") with K-pop, K-dramas, and K-beauty. Astonishingly, just fifty years ago, its economy resembled that of developing nations, heavily dependent on foreign aid. This program offers Xavier students a unique opportunity to explore the business landscape of a rapidly evolving economy by visiting a variety of companies in one of the world’s most dynamic nations.
